Course Objective
To teach children the traditional martial art of Silambam, improving discipline, focus, physical fitness, and self-defense skills while preserving cultural heritage.
Age Group
- Suitable for 6 years and above (beginner to advanced levels).
Course Highlights
- Introduction to Silambam history and traditions
- Basic stances, footwork, and body balance
- Training with the Silambam stick (kol)
- Simple attack and defense techniques
- Coordination drills and partner practice
- Strength, flexibility, and endurance exercises
- Advanced moves, spins, and combat training (higher levels)
- Participation in stage demonstrations and competitions

- Course Duration: 6 months (extendable with advanced levels)
- Class Frequency: 2–3 sessions per week
